Attendees Privacy
When you register for an event powered by Lanternfly, we collect the details you provide — name, contact information, ticket choices and event activity such as check-ins, session attendance and poll responses. Your data is shared with the event organiser, who acts as the data controller for their event. We retain attendee data per the organiser's settings and delete it on request. Contact the organiser directly, or us at privacy@lanternfly.events, to access, correct or erase your information.
Privacy Policy (Client)
For organisers and their teams, Lanternfly processes attendee data strictly as a processor under your instructions and our data processing agreement. Workspaces include retention controls, export and deletion tooling, consent capture for marketing, and audit logs of every data access. Sub-processors are reviewed annually and disclosed before engagement. Enterprise clients may choose regional data residency.
Privacy Policy (Visitors)
Visitors to lanternfly.events are tracked only with essential analytics. We do not sell personal data, we do not run cross-site advertising profiles, and contact-form submissions are used solely to respond to your enquiry.
Personal Data Protection Statement
Lanternfly complies with applicable data protection laws including the GDPR and Singapore's PDPA. We implement recognised controls for personal data in the cloud, assign data protection responsibility within our security team, and notify controllers of personal data breaches without undue delay. Data Sharing Opt-Out Request
You may opt out of non-essential data sharing at any time — including sponsor lead-sharing at events and marketing communications. Manage preferences from any event email footer, in your attendee profile, or by writing to privacy@lanternfly.events with the subject “Opt out”. Opt-outs take effect within 72 hours and never affect your ability to attend.
Cookie Policy
We use strictly-necessary cookies for sign-in, registration flows and load balancing; preference cookies for language and region; and — only with your consent — analytics cookies that measure aggregated usage. You can change consent anytime via your browser settings or the cookie banner. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
